How PROZEN collects, stores and deletes the information you send through this website.
Who we are
PROZEN is an independent technology studio operated by Prosenjit Kar, based in West Bengal, India. This policy covers prozen.in and any enquiry you send through it.
What we collect
When you submit the project form we collect the name, email address, optional WhatsApp number, optional company name, selected service, budget band, timeline and the project description you write. We also store the submission time and a coarse request identifier used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or fingerprinting on this site.
Why we process it
To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quotation, and to keep a record of what was discussed. Our lawful basis is your request for a service (pre-contractual communication) and our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored on a server controlled by PROZEN in a SQLite database and an append-only audit log. Access is restricted to the administrator account. Data is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers.
Your enquiry and our replies are also sent by email through the PROZEN business mailbox at info@prozen.in, hosted by Hostinger. Email is used so that you have a record of the conversation and can reply to a person rather than a form.
If you ask us to sign an NDA before sharing details, we will do so before you send sensitive material.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted from both the database and the mailbox. Project records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law afterwards.
Third parties
WhatsApp links on this site open the WhatsApp app or web client at wa.me. Nothing is sent until you press send, and what you then write is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms — not by our servers.
This site self-hosts its typeface and loads no third-party fonts, scripts or analytics by default — your browser talks only to prozen.in. Our email is hosted by Hostinger, which processes the messages you exchange with us. If analytics or a chat widget is enabled in future, this page will be updated first and the change noted in the version date.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact form and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS. Enquiries are validated server-side, rate limited, and protected against automated submission. Administrative access requires a password hashed with PBKDF2-SHA256 and a server-side session.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the bottom of this page.
